Observations One could hardly imagine a better profile for the role of NSA chief than Condoleezza Rice's profile of 6:4 in the TO8. She is exceptionally well-placed to enjoy and make good use of the role of spy chief and intelligence planner. She is intellectually ambitious beyond the normal range, yet her complicated depths are likely to undermine her single mindedness in the end.
