Zip file includes program v2.0, user notes and a complete example
This program has spawned many imitators but this is the original. For anyone who needs to publish a lot of text on the web Txt2html is extremely useful. It is a tiny program that automates the process of splitting up large text files into nice html pages containing all the necessary hyperlinks to all the other pages.
It uses the minimum of formatting so that the files can be placed within your own web site layout - a frame, for example - and all of the formatting can be turned off if you wish, including the document titles.
Txt2html is a stand-alone 16 bit DOS based program. It will run under Windows perfectly well in its own window as long as your DOS components are installed (they usually are).
Features:
Extremely small program size (52k).
No limit to the size of the text file to convert.
HTML files are numbered sequentially for easy handling.
Each HTM file (page of document) includes user information such as document titles and page number, and footer information that includes links to every page in the document, next page and backpage, as well as copyright information and the optional link to your home page (or wherever).
Each page includes an invisible 'latent cell' in which an image can be inserted if so desired.
Version 2.0 has font bug fix, the options of force framing your files, adding an image to each page when running the program.
