    Observations

Day 14 2:6

George's Resolutions are to 4:8. A mix of doubt, worry at failure and suspicion of others, along with intelligence, capability and creativity. George could probably take over the television channels he currently works for if he could rouse himself to get interested in such things. He probably suffers from a rather fawning but intellectualy lackluster court of cronies who concentrate on the sensual pleasures of life. George is likely to have a profound life of the mind that has never yet found an outlet, except perhaps in the criticism of others and the cynical manipulation of his circle.

Charles' Essential Year

George is 56 and is currently in phase 2:2 of his second cycle. He probably thought that he could still get up to some adventures without having to make too much effort, and that's what probably got him into this pickle in the first place. He probably is thinking about a new home - one even more comfortable than the last, and he might have suddenly wanted to clear out old friendships and start again with new mates. 2 is also about physical health and the interconnectedness of style of life and health, so home and health will be prominent in his life right now. General pleasure and satisfaction will play a dominant role in George's life for the next five years or so, and unless he can balance all the forces pulling at him and remain in the perfect spiritual centre of his world, health will be an ever-present concern.

Major 2: Minor 6

Day Both the Major 2 and the Minor 6 lie on the same axis, giving those of this day a strong sense of identity and unity. As a result, Day Fourteens can be an attractive and magnetic draw on others. They easily see people as a resource to be stored and used, as any physical or intellectual resource is used. They are keen to stand out from their peers, but also to weave the desires of those around them into a secret purpose. They may even  feel they are representatives of a higher form of social organisation in which duty and obligations figure more strongly than freedoms. Day Fourteens have a strong belief in themselves and their abilities to manage resources and people to whatever end they set themselves. They can enter relationships easily and enjoy the emotional rough-and-tumble of the first contacts.  But their idiosyncratic sense of pride may make their relationships unstable. They feel that their sense of honour is undermined by their need to remain in touch with their network of favour and obligation. They like to classify their experiences and acquire information in depth, but they also need to put a personal stamp on any form of communication in order to keep themselves untainted by the ordinary. They are good at handling all the intellectual tools of calculation and may have stamina and perserverance for lengthy analysis. They are unlikely to be shifted in their viewpoints, believing that their opinion is like a moral fixture in creation.  They feel distracted both by the new and by the common ground, and think that events are best steered by a small elite who have allegiance to ideals.  Those of this sign may be political theorists and activists who believe passionately in a cause, and they can also be good scholars and administrators, though a little too sensual for a life of the mind. They may readily reject the baggage of ideas that were given to them during their upbringing, but still cling to the idea of a 'family' with its independent agenda of action. They like to make deals and create business opportunities, and they enjoy the material proof of their achievements, but they can be over-indulgent at times at the expense of their projects. They will be always willing to re-establish contact after a break with friends, but they are unlikely to be the ones to make the first overtures.
