Day 5 5:1 Landscape people are doers; competent, with a fundamental understanding of how people work together. Those of this sign are at ease with the progressions of thinking that run through society. They know how to turn information into a team resource. They belong at the business of life and thought, understanding markets as well as the democratic politics of a society. They are bothered by individual obsessions, mavericks and selfish interests - especially greed - but the skills to handle them may not come easily. Al is coming up to 52 years of age. He is in the beginning of his second cycle - a new year of intellectual excitement and moving, at the end of May, from , a period of creativity and deep-seated worry about his plans and intentions to where he will be fully on his landscape, satisfied with the answers he has seen and the resolutions he has found to his dilemmas. He will be certainly a man of the people and seen to be such.

are the landscape sign most concerned with mental investigation, exploration, moving forward, getting on, doing business. They are only interested in what's real, and they want to consider only the best of the newest ideas. They love information of all sorts but especially the sequences and numbering of events. They are physically and mentally active - even restless. While they like to explore avenues of interest, they are wary of completely new ground. They like the intellectual to have feet of clay and don't put much store in the disinterested expert. They value what seems to be the best, the outstanding, in what's around them.

1 resolves to 5, moving across the landscape from question to answer, from difference to integration.

The Antagony to 1 is 8, independence and naivity. Ones are irritated by the disingenuous especially if they believe it to be an act. They cannot help but feel challenged by those who are not on the same wavelength.

Minor 5

Minor Fives are attractive sociable people who tend to flirt. They are sensitive to those around them, but also practical, and understand what people want, and tend to go with the majority view.  They have a feeling for propriety and manners between individuals, and Minor Fives expect people to listen to each other in a thoughtful way.  They may be too accepting of situations that are not in their best interests, and may lack the skills in dealing with the recalcitrant or domineeering individual. Their respectful, understanding natures are appealing to many, but they are at the mercy of the con man. It may take several bites from the unscrupulous for the lesson to be learnt. Although there is a sterness to them, Minor Fives want to trust.

Minor Fives resolve to 1. They go from answers that seem satisfying enough to questions that expose a new experiences. They want to explore new pathways with a small team of like-mind explorers, and take an innocent delight in anything fresh and new. They will lose faith in the old compromises, and begin to think that numbers and quantities count more than individuals. The business end of life will become important.
