    Observations

Day 57 8:1 Those of this day have a desire to maintain their identity, but fear losing it in the unfolding of new events. They are intellectually vibrant, clear in argument but may avoid challenging confrontation. They prefer to map out their arguments in advance and lay them out with all angles well covered. They may find it difficult to improvise a pathway towards the conclusions they want to reach. They are amused and amusing people who often take having fun too seriously. They are always keeping an eye out for the elitist position, but will not shirk responsibilities.

J.H himself is born near the cusp between Minors 1 and 2. If he was born after 7:44 pm then Minor 2 will dominate, and he will be much more concerned with personal style. He's also likely to identify himself with the state, and to read the 'health' of the nation as he would his own body. The influence of 2 would make him lay his plans carefully and to be cautious about revealing them.

8:1 resolves to 2:5. At 52 years old, J.H. is already well into this Resolution. Energetic from the double (-) sign, J.H has a fine parliamentary sensibility underscored by busy networking behind closed doors, but is likely to be always at odds with his co-workers and peers.

Joerg's Essential Year

J.H. has completed his first cycle and is beginning his second. He has just entered 1:5, which will last until the end of the year, emphasising new connections among his network and like thinkers everywhere. He will be getting a lot of media exposure and his thoughts are likely to spread around the Landscape. He may be seduced into thinking that his movement is expanding far more than it is simply because it is being talked about. The end of the year will bring fresh criticisms and leadership conflicts.

Major 8: Minor 1

Day Fifty-eights are likely to be shy children, sensitive about themselves and to peer pressure.  Their Major resolves to their Minor and they will develop strong personalities, rich in learning and argument. They may use their learning to hold tight to their place in the world and to manoever others away from the space they want to occupy. They are likely to be passionate about the issues they have taken up, and may have have a rich fantasy world where they enjoy secrets and conspiracies which rebel against established and traditional powers.  They are very private, and tend to keep their skills to themselves.  Intellectually they are precise and logical, but  not coldly so, and see that human motivation, at least, involves much more than pure thought. Ties of obligation and debt are powerful instruments, and they appreciate the basic simplicity of trade and markets in human affairs. They are adept at finding flaws in argument, and are good at using the unusual or diverting counter example in debate. They fear chance and the unknown because of the power it has to demolish what they are building. They demand from their network plenty of room to manoever, but never like to lose sight of any one element of their network completely. They will do well on a career ladder because they understand its workings so well, but may lose sight of the final goal.  They may give to the organisation they work for more than it requires or needs. They need information to be available, but prefer to work alone and keep their own hand hidden. Their mood is dependent on their moment-by-moment physical comforts and sensual gratification.   They are drawn to those who enjoy their fun, and social occasions may be enjoyed for their networking rather than for any cultural purpose.  They like to be free to roam within a social gathering and hate having a structured role to play out.  They may like to keep the doors to past relationships open, hating to burn their bridges, but they are unlikely to withdraw condemnation of others, especially of those who have abused their trust. They believe that the first duty in life is to the moment and to keeping  themselves whole and preserved.
