TO8 Day 19 3:3

Political right cross reference: Joerg Haider

    Observations

Day 19 3:3 Le Pen is 74 years old and probably feels there is some urgency about his plans. He feels quite clearly that he should be sitting pretty on a piece of the political territory by now and be contributing to the decision-making process. He believes that his ideas should dominate the discussion about the nature of the community structure, and he may feel that only he has a clear understanding of community failures. He is a typical autocrat, confusing the command of his own powers with the command that a community requires. He thinks of himself as a benign but feudal lord in the intellectual arena from whom lesser beings drawn their inspiration. He will be kind, though manipulative, towards those who support him and tirelessly manoevering against those who deny him.

Le Pen's Essential Year

He is in 6:1 of his second cycle, moving to 6:2 around the end of November this year where his manoevering for control of political resources will be at its height. For him it will be a question of, 'either you are with me or against me', and we can expect a certain amount of bridge burning and even a putsch to clear out the old guard. This is where Le Pen is likely to make a strategic error and leave himself isolated from his moderate (sic) supporters. His emotions may well get the better of him and he may retreat into secrecy, while the fundamental political community leaves him behind.

Major 3: Minor 3

For Day Nineteens, a double 3 means that they express the characteristics of the Minor 2 in addition to their own Minor 3. In spite of their powerful rational minds and a strong will to get what they want, Day Nineteens rely on others to provide them with purpose. They are workers, and their minds and are almost never still, since they are motivated by their need to connect to the landscape of social reality. They express dignity and pride, and when relaxed, they are generous with their thoughts - illuminating the landscape with their presence. They work hard and consistently, know where their jobs end, and like to enjoy the rewards that their hard work has brought. They are charming in social situations and can deal with people easily, but are secretive about themselves and their plans. They are best when manoevering others to get what they want or need. They enjoy developing their tastes and ability to discriminate in what they enjoy most. They collect and organise most things, and they are tidy about their memories, if not their environment, keeping what amuses them the most away from public view. They have an innate sense of how to distribute resources fairly, and always like to know the value of what they are considering. They may develop an eccentric personal style, but are likely to be indifferent to fashion. They are quite set on what they like and what they want in work and relationships, and they prefer to put their life into various compartments with little contact between them. They believe in work as the cure of all ills and difficulties. They work best in a structured situation where the organisation of their thoughts can be put to best advantage. And they like to network, or to create a relationship ‘map’, in order to give them stability in the work place. Without a structure they may lose their way, take on too many jobs, and find themselves flitting from one to another exhaustingly in an effort to finish them. Once they are connected to the landscape, they are anxious not to let that connection go, and may find it difficult to leave a territory and an environment they are familiar with. They can spot an enemy from afar and have an unsympathetic attitude to competition for their territory. They can manage what has to be done, but may not be able to take easily the role of leader. They take pride in their own performance, and can generously support the performances of others. They are complex individuals and, although they are unabashed by their foibles, they are unscrupulous about manoevering people towards their objectives. They like clear plans and are angry to find important features of a problem or argument hidden from them.
