TO8 Day 39 6:7

    Observations

Day 39 6:7 We forget how young Oswald was - 24 years old. He had already served in the marines, had been to Russia, had a Russian wife, yet independent action (as opoosed to independent beliefs) was not his strong point (both his signs are off the Landscape). This was a man who followed doors opened for him, seizing upon opportunities that invited him to take up. His Minor 7, energetic and somewhat reckless with a certain amount of charm, would be always inhibited by his more profound nature that sought a narrow personal pathway to success. He would have had a tendency to borrow ways of talking and behaving from others, without being able to define why he did so. At the same time, he would have been a difficult person to persuade into a course of action that he did not wholeheartedly agree with. He would have humanistic tendencies, and to think of himself as a player in the games of history, but it seems unlikely to me that he would have any reason to assassinate a president or murder a policeman. On the contrary, it seems more likely that he would have gradually begun to indentify with Kennedy and his political intentions, and could easily have become a worker for the Kennedy machine.

Major 6: Minor 7

Day Thirty-nines (and Day Forty-sevens) have their Minor antagonised by their Major, which suggests a muted and tentative expression of the Minor. They may find themselves showing a softer, more accomodating nature than they are happy with. Those of this sign care deeply about the right way for humanity to proceed, for civilisation to develop. They appear energetic, charming, dominant, and their conversation expresses an independent frame of mind. They are good at adapting their ideas to get across their points. And they have an opinion on every subject under the sun. At times they appear vulnerable and unrealistic, but underneath they are knowledgable and determined to be successful. They see far ahead, and like to contemplate, in their mind's eye, their place in the future. They are marked out by their luck - good or bad - and they way they can become isolated from the social groups that constitute their world. They worry about their social standing and also of the competitive demands of their peers. Putting aside their upbringing will be an essential step in finding the freedom they need. They learn rapidly from others, but they are prone to the repeating situation from which they endlessly plot their escape. They take advice from no one, and they may find it difficult to see or accept the guidance they may need to get them out of their stalemate position. Yet they see opportunities everywhere and dream of the one goal that will simplify their life. They are tactical, and can plan for their future, but look to world events and trends rather than their local community, to focus on their options and confirm their choices. They are strong-minded, but even so may find it difficult to take decisions, and are better off in powerful partnerships with those who are more practical than they are. They may be interested in psychic powers and ways of predicting the future, and may prefer to consult oracles for expert advice. The feeling of needing to hold themselves back from drifting is strong, and they may tire easily at the end of the day. They are sensitive to criticism, but are their own toughest critics.

They resolve towards 8:1. In the second half of their life, they may become more analytical and sensible evaluaters of what they want to do and what options they have. They may want children as a logical conclusion to changes in their lives. They may support revolution, but will tend towards only those idealistic and elitist-led causes that are organised through compassion, and which have justice and liberty as their goals. They are likely to infect their search for, and faith in, new social movements with logic and stern criticism. While they feel community values tend towards the worst compromise, they believe in solidarity with their fellows. They will strongly support their own sex. They look for simplicity in their relationships and will, in the end, reject the emotional mess and tangle that they have got used to.
