Day 46 6:6 Double Sixes have characteristics of 5 - conviviality, seeking consensus, in awe of, but feeling threatened by, the maverick. This intensifies the feeling of conflict with the community. They are aware of and want to preserve their status possibly even more than their intellectual achievements. However, the people are always in conflict with personal ambition of this sign. And the greater truth (as they see it) is something that the people must be brought round to see. To those of this sign it is unlikely that they believe the people can be trusted to do anything right for themselves.

They are willful and capable, and have an ability to command the resources of any situation. They think of themselves as individual, uncommon,and with a destiny outside their community. Yet their achievements need an audience. They need accolades from the very people from whom they see themselves as moving away. They have an internal conflict that makes it hard to settle down with their peers. They cannot help but point out where everyone is going wrong, and this interferes with their empathy.

Their resolution to 8:8 takes them into very personal territory. Their opinions may simplify, and their conflicts with others who transgress on their territory may intensify. They long for space and the right not to be bothered. The past is full of wrongs that must be righted in the present.

Pinochet will be 85 this year. His Essential Year is passing from to in the middle of March. Health matters will be foremost. The transition towards his resolution is likely to be a mental strain.

Major 6

Sixes are under the sign for the independent, resourceful person who likes to stand apart from the crowd and develop his own pathway to success. Applause and accolades are important to their feeling of achievement. Sixes know how to run a project and how to organise all the facets of work, but may find they stumble over man-management and find it hard to keep straight a dividing line between personal life and work. Sixes have a well-developed sense of honour. They are always definite about who is responsible for error. They can be rigid about people and ideas.

The Antagony to 6 is 5, the realm of family, community and status - often interpreted as 'ordinary life' - which tends to be the targets of Sixes' most severe criticism.

Minor Sixes Minor Sixes are great caricaturists and don't mind interfering with the harmony and balance of self-satisfied people. Minor Sixes understand well the tensions in partnerships and work environments because they identify themselves strongly with the aims of the project they are involved in.  Minor Sixes can stand back from events and look at them with a clear eye, but they can lack worldliness and social ease, and tend towards the solitary.  Yet they want to achieve and can marshal the resources they need to do it. They may find it difficult to handle complex social situations and they prefer to focus in on the one-to-one. They think abstractly and have organisational flair, but may find handling those in their charge a difficult act to master. Double Sixes are more intellectually concerned with their community of people and getting them to act correctly.

Resolving to 8, Minor Sixes take great importance on clarity of argument, precise thoughts, and to encircle themselves with irrefutable logic.

5 antagonises the Minor 6. The idea of a parliament is a waste of time. Why talk when the action to be taken is obvious. Respecting other people's needs is difficult.
