For Day Forty-fours the Minor resolves to the Major, intensifying their noble metaphysical and, perhaps, elitist attitudes. They want a calm, peaceful environment where mysteries can be contemplated, and where their feelings for humanity arise out of mysterious and poetical side of human nature. They are analytical and inventive with their explanations, and think that all human experience can be understood more easily through a symbolic language that only they control. They observe the unconscious symbolic language we all use in everyday life, and enjoy finding out about what makes people tick. They want to reveal themselves and express what's in their hearts as well as in their minds, but may be hampered by the need to express what they think formally. Although sex can be an expression of independence and adulthood - they may use it to formally step away from their upbringing - they can learn to find in it a mental experience stronger than the physical one. They may feel that they are reaching towards an understanding of the basic mystery of life, reproduction and evolution. They are mentally strong, though superficially all at sea, and have a quiet will which can see them through difficult times. Although they master their intellectual environment to bring work and leisure into a unified front, they handle authority less well. They have dramatic expectations in their relationships, find their partners in unlikely places and idealise them. All the same, they are determined to go their own way, and will accept what happens along their path as just. They want to be approved of by the society or family they have left to go their own way. But the search for community status irritates them, and they are likely to find the values of the community in which they move static and meaningless. They dislike others trying to define reality for them, and like the mysteries of their minds and the ideas thrown up by contemplation to define the truths they want to accept. Those of this sign are imaginers and considerers, but may lack a clear vision of their work, and may go round and round in circles, needing a dose of practical reality to jolt them out of their rut. Deduction, while simple for them to perform, is hardly a pleasure. They may find themselves continuing to study esoteric subjects for years, but their studious and possibly theoretical approach to life will bring them success in the end. They want the success of their own creations on their own terms, and wonder how they can protect and secure them from damage or loss.
They resolve towards 8:6. In the second half of their life, those of this sign look to simplify their life and have fun away from any intellectual realm. They have little interest in community values, and like to deal with individuals who are similarly independent and free. Moving across the landscape they may become more definite and demanding.
